Benchmarks don’t mean much, it’s all on how well it works in the ‘real world’. Seems lacklustre for 8-cores vs. the 2-cores on Apples end.

As The Verge and many other sites reported the other day, THX is suing Apple for patent infringement regarding speaker designs used in their products.
The patent in question, No. 7,433,483, outlines technology for “Narrow profile speaker configurations and systems.”
Seems like that could apply to a lot of devices made in the past 3 years but Apple is a guaranteed big payout, win or settlement, so lets only go after them.
